The Bill Hertz Memorial Scholarship Award consists of two college scholarships, one each for a male and female athlete, based upon financial need. Named in memory of MJSF board member Bill Hertz, these scholarship awards are to be used for tuition during the awardees' freshman year of college. The two award winners are chosen based on need, academic achievement, and athletic participation. Our recipients are Jewish graduating seniors who have had a commendable career in terms of participation in high school sports, an outstanding academic record and demonstrated financial need.
